Stratos HSSD2 is a very sensitive laser based aspirating smoke detection (ASD) system, which is coupled to the unique ClassiFire-3D Artificial Intelligence (AI) processor. This combination provides a solution which is very resilient to nuisance alarms, and is routinely applied for protection in very dirty and dusty environments. At the other extreme, Stratos HSSD2 is capable of providing the very highest levels of sensitivity in environments such as computer areas and clean rooms. In these applications it is able to give warning of the very slightest trace of smoke. Stratos HSSD2 is fully capable of reacting to true INCIPIENT fire situations, thereby preventing damage.

The Stratos HSSD2 is available in several versions, with basic led status indication, or with LCD display and keypad. The unit comprises of four sampling pipe entries, with individual air flow monitoring. Interfacing to the fire detection system of the building is achieved via a number of inputs and outputs that are available on the Stratos HSSD2.
